Dr Lufiani Mulyadi (Dr Lufi) is a medical practitioner who has spent almost two decades in general practice in Australia. She has also worked as a lecturer and spent ten years with the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University teaching medical students. She has worked with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, reviewed publications for the Australian Journal of General Practice and has presented at various national and international medical conferences.
Dr Lufi has always been passionate about medical education and loves to teach medicine to her patients, medical students, family, friends, colleagues and anyone who is keen to learn! Together with her sister, Melbourne dentist Dr Leah Machmud (Dr Leah), who is also passionate about education, Dr Lufi and Dr Leah share accurate, reliable and easy to understand medical and dental information through Instagram, podcasts and their YouTube channel.
In addition, Dr Lufi has written her first children’s book entitled “A to Z of Human Anatomy”. This book is filled with fun rhymes using real medical words, from A-ACHILLES to Z-ZYGOMATIC ARCH. Dr Lufi has a special interest in paediatrics and through her work, she has identified a need for greater health education for children. She hopes that through her books, children can explore the wonderful world of health and wellness and the exciting language of medicine. She hopes that children can learn about their body and gain confidence in understanding how their body works, inside and out, thereby improving their physical, psychological, social and emotional well-being.
Dr Lufi continues to work as a general practitioner in Melbourne Australia.
